The Leaders Readers Network Hosts “Remarkable Educator Celebration”

Every school year, The Leaders Readers Leaders Network (TLRN), a non profit organization, celebrates educators who are dedicated to providing literacy resources and high quality brand new books to students at Title 1 Schools across Texas and select cities across the country. This year’s Remarkable Educator Celebration highlights the positive contributions educators have on our society, schools, and communities. The event recognizes the invaluable contributions of teachers in nurturing the love for reading among students and fostering a culture of learning.

With over 200 educators in our network, we are thrilled to work alongside foundation and corporate partners to celebrate educators for their remarkable efforts to ensure access to books and get students excited about reading. TLRN’s Remarkable Educator Celebration is presented by Amarillo National Bank, Atmos Energy, Amarillo Area Foundation, Raise Your Hand Texas, Pondaseta Brewing Co, Education Credit Union Foundation, and The People’s Federal Credit Union. The celebration includes a special happy hour for educators and community partners to meet and greet, an educator discussion panel, intimate dinner, and awards to honor educators in the Texas Panhandle. Limited seats available. Educators are invited to attend the event. Click here to learn more and RSVP by May 3, 2024.

As part of our charitable programming, the Literacy Fellowship, provides teachers and students free books to facilitate a community of readers in classrooms and schools. By offering these resources at no cost, the organization aims to provide positive community support for teachers to inspire their students and cultivate a lifelong love for reading.
