Eric Hale | Dallas ISD

Sincerely, all of the projects I have experienced with The Leaders Readers Network have shown me the leadership potentiality within all students, across all demographics. I am most fond of the literacy project that empowers youth of lower socioeconomic backgrounds to donate books to younger learners in their community and to read to them, as well. I was able to take my Junior Varsity cheerleaders across the street from our school to the local community center daycare where they donated dozens of books to readers ages 0-5. It was fun, inspiring, and amazing to witness the infectious joy of discovering the power of stories.
