Prisha Mehta, Co-President

Prisha Mehta is a senior at Centennial High School in Frisco, Texas. As a songwriter, musician, community organizer, and mock trial team captain, the Leaders Readers Network is a place for her to bring her passions for writing, advocacy, and creativity together in pursuit of education equality. She believes that encouraging creativity, multiculturalism, and artistic inquiry in underserved classrooms is essential to supporting the growth of our next generation of student leaders and thinkers. As the 2021-2022 Co-President of the student executive board, she is thrilled to work with students across the country to bring creativity, diversity, and a passion for reading to low-income classrooms.

Manogna Jonnalagadda, Secretary

Manogna is a persevering teenager who is interested in spreading her passion for knowledge by interacting with students and providing them with resources in order to facilitate their path to success. In addition, she also loves reading novels that include suspense and mystery, especially classics like the Count Of Monte Cristo. Furthermore, she believes that books are the key to unlocking your potential.

Saanvi Merchant, Co-President

Saanvi Merchant is a senior at JL Mann High in Upstate SC. She has a strong passion for encouraging literacy for all as she believes it is the foundation for creativity and imagination. Her passion for service began in 8th grade when she raised money for an orphanage in India for school supplies, transportation, and more. Since then, she has conducted book drives, engaged her community members, and even organized national service projects. She now serves as the Co- President for The Leaders Readers Network. Outside of LRN Saanvi holds leadership roles in numerous organizations from HSDA to 4-H to numerous local level programs as well, while maintaining a stellar academic record. She is excited to expand her leadership skills and serve those in her community as well as her nation through The Leaders Readers Network.

Ria Voodi, National Outreach Coordinator

Ria Voodi (she/her) is a sophomore from Los Angeles. She is extremely passionate about politics, social equality, and ensuring equal opportunities for everyone. She enjoys speech and debate and has competed at the state and national level. She also enjoys playing tennis on her school's tennis team. She's worked with LRN for multiple years and she hopes to continue implementing change in her community and continue fighting for educational equity for underserved students. Ria hopes to pursue law or politics in the future.

Namyuktha Prakash,                                        Media & Content WriterNamyuktha Prakash is a junior at New Tech High @ Coppell. She is a member of her local DECA and JWAC chapter. She also serves as president in her UNICEF high school club and the director of recruitment in ModelUN. During her free time, she likes to draw portraits using graphite, learn about different cultures around the world. In the future, she hopes to pursue psychology and computer science. Namyuktha Prakash, Media & Content Writer

Namyuktha Prakash is a junior at New Tech High @ Coppell. She is a member of her local DECA and JWAC chapter. She also serves as president in her UNICEF high school club and the director of recruitment in ModelUN. During her free time, she likes to draw portraits using graphite, learn about different cultures around the world. In the future, she hopes to pursue psychology and computer science. She looks forward to helping students get a good quality education.

Pranavi Reddi, Teacher Recognition Chair 

Pranavi Reddi is a rising senior at Centennial High School. She loves to volunteer, sing, and do archery. She spends the majority of my time volunteering with local non-profits. Currently, she serves as CEO of the non-profit organization Kindness4All and president of the State Student Leadership Council for Keep Texas Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and the Texas Department of Transportation. When she is not volunteering, she is probably baking or watching Netflix!

Tanvi Sure, Volunteer Certification Officer

Tanvi Sure is from Los Angeles, California and is excited to be working with the Leaders Readers Network. She is a sophomore at Taft High School. She enjoys reading, volunteering, and playing sports. In school, she enjoys math and science. She is part of her school's debate team and is part of many different clubs at school. She looks forward to learning new skills at LRN that will help her positively impact her community and build her leadership skills.

Jackie Park, Media & Content Writer

Jackie Park is a rising Junior at a high school in upstate South Carolina. She enjoys acting, doing calligraphy, reading, and playing lacrosse. Jackie has been doing theatre for 8 years and is passionate about telling stories. She loves getting involved at school with clubs such as Students for Change, Atlas, Model UN, and Student Council. She is beyond excited to be making an impact in her community and meeting new people! Thank you to everyone interested in this amazing organization!
