MLK DAY SERVICE PROJECT TEACHER RESOURCES
The MLK Day of Service is observed as a “day on, not a day off.” MLK Day of Service is intended to empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, create solutions to social problems, and move us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a “Beloved Community.”

Use the following powerpoint or create your own based on what you are teaching for your poetry unit.
Share your plans for your project. We encourage teachers to share their ideas, resources. This will help inspire our community of teachers and students.
